Dr. Wendell Lawrence graduated from the University of the Southern Caribbean and then we went on to get a B.S. in Medical Technology from Colombia Union College. He recieved his DDS degree from Howard University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Detroit District Dental Society, the MDA, the ADA, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the AAOSH, the AADSM, the ASBA, and the AACD. His professional accomplishments have been featured in the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News. He was also recognized by “The Leading Physicians of the World” as “Top Dentist” 2017. Dr. Lawrence’s office and ministry were featured on PBS television, on February 26, 2006 on the “Our Health” program where he talked about the importance of good nutrition to the health of the body and teeth. Dr. Lawrence has more than 35 years of experience as a dentist, where he had established an extensive practice in Southfield, MI with emphasis on non-surgical periodontics and same-day CAD/CAM cosmetic dentistry. Because of his emphasis on whole-person health, he built and equipped his office with nutrition and lifestyle components. Teaching oral-systemic relationships with diet and lifestyle helps his patients leave his office with more than a pretty smile- they learn how to develop habits that produce real health and happiness.
