About
Dr. Ludkin has been improving the health and confidence of his patients for 10 years, and he’s proud to be a member of the Healthy Smiles Dental Care of Lansing team. Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Ludkin used to play hockey, and like many of his teammates, the rough sport resulted in him losing two of his teeth. He also had a few developmental defects in his remaining teeth that made him hesitant to smile. Dr. Ludkin really looked up to his dentist, and he said having his smile restored and his confidence renewed was a truly life-changing experience. From then on, he knew he wanted to be able to help others in the same way.
Education
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Ludkin earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Since then, he has completed several hours of continuing education focused on subjects such as dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, and general and cosmetic dentistry. He continues to take courses every year to grow and refine his skillset.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
At home, most of Dr. Ludkin’s free time is dedicated to his four children. They enjoy doing all sorts of activities together, so you’ll often find the family snowboarding and playing hockey in addition to going to concerts and traveling.
